The personal data you provide are necessary for the performance of the professional relationship and for the exercise of the right of defence.

The processing will be carried out by automated and/or manual means, in compliance with the provisions of Article 32 of GDPR 2016/679 concerning security measures, by persons specifically authorised to process the data and in accordance with Article 29 of GDPR 2016/679.

Please note that, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation and data minimisation pursuant to Article 5 of GDPR 2016/679, and subject to your consent, your personal data will be retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected and processed.

We also inform you that the data collected will never be disclosed to the public and will not be communicated to third parties without your explicit consent, except where such communication is necessary and may involve the transfer of data to public authorities, consultants or other parties for the fulfilment of legal obligations.

Your personal data will not be transferred either to Member States of the European Union or to third countries outside the European Union.

Pursuant to Articles 9 and 10 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679, you may provide the professional with data that qualify as "special categories of personal data", namely data revealing "racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data concerning health or a person's sex life or sexual orientation". Such categories of data may only be processed with your free and explicit consent.

At any time, pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679, you may exercise the right to:

• a) request confirmation as to whether or not your personal data exist;
• b) obtain information concerning the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data involved, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed and, where possible, the retention period;
• c) obtain the rectification and erasure of your data;
• d) obtain restriction of processing;
• e) obtain data portability, i.e. receive your personal data from the Data Controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit them to another Data Controller without hindrance;
• f) object to the processing at any time, including where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes;
• g) object to a decision based solely on automated processing concerning natural persons, including profiling;
• h) request from the Data Controller access to your personal data and the rectification or erasure thereof, or restriction of processing concerning you, or object to their processing, as well as exercise the right to data portability;
• i) withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to its withdrawal;
• j) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
